I am planning to price match at best buy and use reward certificates to bring oop lower. That's the best we got for 2025.

Pretty big difference between a physical copy and a digital code. You can sell the physical game and get back most of the value.

Personal preference for physical vs digital. I prefer physical hands down since I like to own something that is tangible, however I also understand the convenience of having everything be digital.

I understand your point but honestly what the point of owning a half baked physcial game when it requires internet connection one way or the other? Physcial game that is packaged as the complete edition hold more value than any, unlike Concord on PS5.

In short, the whole idea of owning a physical game is to be DRM free as to play offline 100% like the PS3 era.

The base version of this game is completely playable offline without ever connecting to the internet.

If you want to play the additional stages added after the release as free DLC updates then you need to update the game. So the physical still holds its value very well and is still relevant for preservation even if it doesn't include the additional DLC.

Also Costco has this for $32.99, might show OOS but keeps coming back in stock periodically.

Go check your local target. Mine had stacks of this game on clearance for half this price.
