I've tried a few different sound machines and I always found the quality of the recordings to be less than stellar at best.

So what I ended up doing was using a small portable/bt speaker with microsd slot that I already owned, downloaded some sleep soundtracks off YouTube and loaded them on the SD card.

A few extra steps for better quality sound, but you might even have a compatible speaker laying around your house too!

I think this deal may be dead. Promo code is not working for me... I realized there's no battery back-up on this model, which makes it a deal breaker for me anyways. Been trying to replace my old alarm clock for ages. 😔

I just used it and it worked for me. Added a $9.02 promotional amount. Total was $14.48 with tax.

This is cheap enough to try out. I use a box fan for white noise right now, but that isn't going to work in the winter!

I have an older version of this and it still works well. Alexa works too, but it's less consistent. Sometimes it will stop randomly or it will say a bunch of filler text beforehand that interrupts the bedtime ritual for the baby. Also, you can't use Alexa for anything else during the (hopeful) 8+ hour block it'll be running for.
