As I shared in the other thread for the single sensor, and it's more important to share here; I learned this the hard way, but there's a limit of 6 sensors connected to the same thermostat

What is the difference between gen 1 and Gen 2 I tried finding it myself but I don't find anything comprehensive

These also won't connect to the cheaper Google nest thermostat. Only the higher end one unless something has changed.

You only buy Nest if you plan on replacing your thermostat every 10 years.

This is the 1st gen sensors. The recent used deal on the sensor was for gen 2.
