Not a good price in my opinion, but worse than that (because this is frankly the best laptop in a 5070 or down series) is that this CPU makes this effectively a desktop computer because of what it does to battery life. Less than 2 hours of general web browsing/youtube at 40% brightness. In comparison the Ryzen 240 (or 260?) version of this gets 6+ hours on the same. It's actually insane how bad the 14700HX is. Also produces heat taking some of the thermal headway from the 5060 and giving it worse performance.

Of note sub 2 hours new means sub 1 hour in a few years time. Cannot say enough good things about this laptop with the Ryzen, but this one is rough.

Anyone looking at this one should look at the 1k Alienware, or the non Oled version from Microcenter in store for 800 instead imo. Or hold out for the Ryzen 260 Oled for around 1k.
