They listen for sounds and extremely quickly actively cancel most noise by sending cancelling sound waves. It works surprisingly well for not sealing in your ear. The pros with the silicone ear tips were never comfortable for me so these are the best option for people in my same boat. Hope that helps! Good luck!

Got these at 109 delivered yesterday. First pair since using the wired freebies…fit is the same. Apparently my ear canals are not designed to have these fit securely. 10% diff in 24hrs sucks but it is what it is.
