I agree there are bigger better units. But if this is what you have, you can make it work. I would just strongly suggest shopping for a 1kw battery to add. They've been as cheap as $285 new or $250 refurbed.

Wrong with those. But the regular smart batteries are just easier to use and charge. I use the ecoflow 1kw smart battery. The delta 2 or 3 1kw battery will work. A few months ago the ecoflow website had the delta 3 battery new for $285. The ecoflow ebay store had delta 2 battery refurbed for about $250 last week. I believe you can still register the refurbished ones for a five year warranty at the ecoflow site. Ecoflow is currently selling used ones on ebay for $259. But I have no idea if they are eligible for a full warranty or not.

Smoking price for just $232.50 each. Unfortunately it makes you buy two. So would be perfect if you happen to have two units...

Typical wattage by size
Small (1.5-2 quarts): 80–120 watts
Medium (3-5 quarts): 150–170 watts
Standard (6 quarts): Approximately 180–240 watts
Large (6-8 quarts): 180–320 watts
Extra-large (10 quarts): Can exceed 450 watts
Here's an example. You had two medium pots running at 150 watts each. You would get close to 3 hours of run time off this unit. Double that run time if you added one extra 1kw battery. I would check the wattage of the crockpots to be sure. If you're running a couple of the large to extra large ones. I would probably look for something larger battery wise.

Is there a difference in battery tech between this deal and the link above?

It's probably better to get 2 units if the price is same as an extra battery.. That way if one fails you still have a working unit. Or you can move them to different locations in the house.
The only drawback would be, that each unit burns some watts just by being powered on. So if you're trying for longer runtime on your fridge, you'll cut back on your overall runtime because 2 inverters are turned on and running at the same time. The extra battery has no inverter, so it is just an extension of power for the one unit that is already on. Hope that helps...
