Chipotle's Thanksgiving Eve BOGO is a solid in restaurant value play for people who can get to a participating location after 4 p.m. It can cover multiple entrees in one visit, and the deal has been confirmed through corporate emails and the official site. The strongest upside is getting two or more bowls or burritos for roughly the price of one, with some locations ringing the second item free automatically. The main catches are uneven participation, long lines, occasional ingredient shortages, and staff sometimes needing proof or limiting the offer to one free item. A practical, crowd dependent pickup if you can verify your store first.

  • Families or roommates splitting a takeout run, because the BOGO can cover four bowls for about $27 to $30 and feed four people.

  • Shoppers who can arrive after 4 p.m. and order in person, because the second entree can ring free at checkout without a code.

  • People who want a straightforward in-store meal deal, because the promotion worked without extra hoops at some locations and the portions were not skimped on.

  • Buyers planning to stock up for later, because the bowls freeze decently when sealed and reheat better on medium or low power.

  • People needing a guaranteed, hassle-free redemption, because some locations require proof, limit the offer to one free entree, or refuse it entirely.

  • Online-order regulars, because the promotion is in-restaurant only and web or mobile ordering can create missing-item problems and long backlogs.

  • Late-night diners hoping for a full menu, because some locations ran out of bowls and key ingredients before closing.

  • Shoppers expecting a polished, fast line experience, because crowds can be heavy and staff may rush packing enough to spill sauce.

No wonder my local Chipotle had a line out the door spilling onto the sidewalk today

it mentions coupon code TRYBYOC to get $10 off the build-your-own kits (they are about $60, feeds 4).
This is a bad deal. It's cheaper to get 4 chicken burritos or 4 bowls

How do you do it? Because two people have said it doesn't work. Do you know if I can send that digitally to a friend nearChipotle so she could use it right now? Is it a code for the gift card or can I send a screenshot? Does it work with a Bogo or not? Two people said it doesn't.. You're the only one that said it does.
I went today, and that $10 didn't work. I'm gonna have to use that for non promo, but i used the $50 gift card and it worked fine. Once I bought it online, gift card came to email. It's in some sort of qr code, so u can just send your friend screenshot and it will be fine

Edit: longest line seen in a long, long time. Would only allow one freebie, was told you have to get in line again if you want another.. Glad I didn't buy gift card, better to try to eat healthier!

Thanks, How quickly did you get the Chipotle GC when you ordered it? Today? Really hate to commit to that much Chipotle but I hate paying full price for fast food. If only I could get a refund if it doesn't come in time to use today, but I guess that won't happen.

Tried 3 locations but always so difficult to redeem these due to long lines or non participating locations.

Burrito bowl comparison for the price So I had taken some water and filled both bowls upChipotle 636g (more deeper)Moe's 609g (more wider)In my area, the prices Chipotle $9.50 Moe's $9.79So Chipotle has the better portion size. Of course, there is space underneath each of the lids for the bowls. Yeah, I am done comparing them on size. For meats:Chipotle: Carne Asada, Chicken, Steak, Beef Barbacoa, Carnitas, and SofritasMoe's: Tofu, Ground Beef, Adobo Chicken, White Meat Chicken and SteakRice:Chipotle: White or Brown RiceMoe's: Seasoned Rice or Cilantro Lime RiceToppings (makes each unique): Chipotle: Red Chimichurri (for now)Moe's: More salsas and sauces, two varieties of jalapenosOverall, for better deals though and more accessible, Moe's. Plus, Moe's you get free chips and salsa. Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Another comparison crossed off the bucket list!
Not for nothing but Moe's also charges a fee of 35 cents (I think) to use their app. It shows up and taxes and fees.

Chipotle is known for national Salmonella, Ecoli, Norovirus and Clostridium poisoning, which is odd from a chain, because it was founded in Newport Beach, CA; one of the wealthiest cities in CA. And you know CA, a state with very strict regulation and that includes food inspection. Then again, if there are franchises in other states with less than stellar government state regulations this may happen. This happened to an IN N Out in Texas that ended up closing down. I kind of see them now as a restaurant that puts on airs of Inglewood with the now flashy SoFi Stadium, but still ghetto in many aspects. Crazy thing is, two of these outbreaks happened, one in San Diego, a city in CA and Seattle, Washington; Washington, another state, where regulations are tough on food safety.
Chipotle is headquartered in Newport Beach, but founded in Colorado.

Went to my local store, line was long but not too crowded. Ordered 4 bowls and the cashier tried to charge me for 3. At first she said it was 2 bowls and the rest was tax. How is tax THAT much? Only after arguing for 5 minutes did she ring it correctly. What a sus store... Also, when did they start charging for tortillas with the bowls? They used to be free.
