Good deal! Not like I need another pair of pliers. What do you call it when you have two pairs of pliers? Is each arm a ply or a plier? Shouldn't it be called "really hard grabber" or "smusher?"
Edit: I just got off the phone with John Pliers and he just acted like his phone was breaking up and put a hair dryer in the speaker.
these slip-joint pliers don't appear to be very slip-jointed. if they are they have gone well out of their way to hide it in the photos and not mention it in the features

It's a flush rivet, ground flat, visible on the opposite side.

Got this for $6 just now. Deal is even better than before. Looks like quality pair. I wish the big channel lock ones were on sale though. I'm in need of a good pair.
