If you want this only as a router/firewall, then it works as such and you're good to go, if you think you want to go down that rabbit hole of getting into the Ubiquiti system of cameras, switches, and other networking stuff you'll have to get their Cloudkey product (which yes does end up making it more expensive than the Cloud Gateway Fiber), because this doesn't have all that UniFi software in it. There are also other smaller differences, as the Cloud version is newer, a tiny displace screen, etc.
