But in testing it, it was about as strong as the Bremen 4in ratcheting hand clamp; which goes to around 25lbs in pressure. If the jaws were steel, and it had more of an acme style threading and a t-handle, I think it would be cool. But for what it is, it's just not as good, or as quick as better options that are the same price, or less.
If looking for a good style of clamp thar does this job, but for the same price, get the Pony/Jorgensen 4in ratcheting hand clamp. They get about 30-35lbs of pressure, and are faster, and easier to use. (And, they are about $10 retail.)
For me, the biggest advantage is having the clamping force of a bar clamp without the bar and trigger mechanicals getting in my way. I bought a pair of these last year when they were first released. Although not ideal for every clamping job (what clamp type is?), when I need a powerful clamper without a bunch of bulk getting in my way, nothing in my arsenal comes close to the usability of these. For example, they're perfect for clamping down my Kreg pocket hole jig, adding a temporary spoil board to the router table fence, clamping a piece of crown molding to the miter saw to prevent sliding during a cut… proven useful for my purposes several times and many ways.

Let's make one thing clear -- unless you're working with solid heavy iron clamps, no matter the style or shape, these things aren't holding all that much in terms of weight or clamping force.
Unless you're working with the most minor of stock, be prepared to double up (or more) the number of clamps you think you need. 4? More like 6 or 8.
Where these come in handy is where you don't want the ratcheting handle getting in the way -- such as Kreg pocket hole kits.
With the 1/4x20 thread on them, I could see them being a useful alternative to a light duty "Super Clamp" that photographers like to use.
They missed the lesson in school: "Don't yuck on another person's yum."
They're great clamps. Not for everything, but if folks have a need for them, they'll do just nicely.
