I've had all 3 gens - not worth it if you have the 2's. Mad I bought them at launch full price. Thought I'd be able to sell my brand new, just replaced under warranty and never used 2's for like $200 but haven't yet just got an offer for $100.

Probably will eat the loss but honestly not worth even $100-$200 upgrade or difference if it were me I would go buy the 2's that were just on sale in a different thread.

Went with BB a couple of days ago
219+tax-35$ trade in (old AirPods Pro pair) and 20% with PayPal pay in 4
As usual I got local delivery from store instead of them shipping it and they sent me a damaged box and I got an additional 10% discount from CS.
My net should be around 143 after everything.
PS: I already see the pending PayPal points - assuming the points will drop after discount and trade in refunds...hope it doesnt mess things up.

Also for those waiting for Black Friday - these days are gone as this has just become a discount week/period.
I dont think it will go to 200$ before end of year.

while I agree a price difference of 100$ or so is not worth it from the little time I used them I felt the slight improvement in ANC which was already great on the 2's + the battery life increase is worth it for travelers. for me its also about getting a new pair as my AC+ is expiring soon on my APP2

Try using the PP app and then press the Menu (3 strips button - top left) -> press Rewards and scroll all the way to the bottom and save the offer: 20% cash back on pay later purchases with PP through 12/8, ends 12/31.
Once you purchase something using the Pay in 4 you will get the cashback in points on PP.

I happened to have the box sitting in a drawer with the cord. I shipped the trade in as they couldn't take it in store and apply it on the order for some reason. I don't think it should be a deal breaker not to have the cable.
