I wouldn't pay more than $120 for it now. Being a very slow to charge unit, you need to plug it in and go to sleep. It is like waiting for the paint to dry in the can before you discard the can. This is a 2022 model and will be out of updates in a year or so. Already announced replacement model will charge faster, has better speakers and is faster too. Yeah, agree the battery charge rate and life leaves a lot to be desired.

Had Amazon Fire tablets that weren't cutting it anymore with their low RAM and got this. Was $180 last month during Prime days sale . It's 'ok' otherwise and does what I bought it for.

This model came out at the end of 2023, that is why the listing says 2024 version.
It does charge slow and has been on sale for as low as $120 for open box / like new. At that price it's a deal. For $200 I'd see if you can find a deal on one of the 10" iPads.
