Nope, $70-120 is crazy for a game and especially for those that have in-app purchases as well. Forget the inflation argument - games today aren't worth full price 9/10 times. Consumers really are pretty complacent in 2025 and FOMO is still at large.
These companies continue to scrape for every penny with quality a sacrifice. PC games get these awful console-style menus and games are more poorly optimized than ever. Consumers need to speak with their pocketbook and stop making it so easy for these big studios.

All stores that are taking part of this nintendo sale have switch sports priced higher. Target hasn't changed their prices yet. There is still hope they mark switch sports to the correct value

I'm usually an advocate for physical games. But Splatoon 3 works much better as a digital game. For one it's basically all multiplayer so once the servers go there won't be much to do and therefore game preservation isn't as important for this game. And I can always load it up to do a quick shift at Grizzco.
