These factory reconditioned Beats Studio Pro headphones come across as a solid value for around $100, with sound that is generally strong and spatial audio that stands out for movies. The ANC and transparency mode are reported to work well, and the headphones can look nearly new with the original case and cables included. Bass is described as boosted but sometimes needing EQ, while comfort and build feel less premium than Sony or Bose, with more plastic and a firmer clamp. A faint buzzing has also shown up in YouTube playback for one unit, making this a capable but not flawless refurb.
Common Questions (4)
The sound is generally described as good for the price, with strong bass that may feel boosted and sometimes benefits from EQ. Spatial audio is a standout for movies and can make the headphones feel closer to pricier Sony models, but they are also described as less natural and not as close in sound quality as a $350 Sony headset.
It can arrive with the original Beats case plus the USB-C charging cable and headphone cable, and some units are reported in original packaging. Other units arrive in a plain Amazon or brown box, so the included accessories and packaging can vary.
They can be worn for long periods without issue, but the fit is tighter than Sony and the headband is stiffer with less padding. The ear cup is also smaller, so comfort may be less forgiving than Bose or Sony for some listeners.
ANC and transparency are reported to work well on this model. That makes them a practical pick if you want active noise canceling and pass-through listening in a refurbished pair around $100.
