Former chef here - these are actually pretty high quality knives for the price. Had to opportunity to try them out during a demo a Costco. Was surprised at how balanced these are and the tine construction for under $200 for a set. They have a feel similar to classic Wusthof handles. I'm not sold on the block it comes with that has the built-in sharpening- high carbon blades don't need sharpening as much as honing. You could wear your knives out by oversharpening.

Anyway, good price on good knives. Keep in mind there's a cheaper set of these that doesn't have the nice handles on them. Those ones weren't so great.

Not a good price. They were being sold for $100 a few weeks back.
