Got it for the PS5 for $30. Great game, wish I would've waited to get it in the switch 2 for portability

They have the ps5 for the same price but I think you brought the best version since the switch 2 is on that key file thing.

This is just a physical copy with a key card in the case for Switch 2. You will use the key card and download the real game from their servers. They didn't make cartridges for it unfortunately.

Might as well just download it digitally via the eShop or other digital stores unless you really want a empty case for collecting.

Its actually a physical cartridge with just an access code on it to download the game... so you won't have a completely empty box to put on the shelf, but you are dependant on the servers for downloading the game and even after you have the digital game installed you still need to insert the game cart to play it. I personally would never buy a key card game as the card only has value as long as you have accessibility to the servers to download the game.. if the game is removed from the server or you dont have internet access.. you are not playing the game.

This may just be my ignorance, but could you buy the switch 1 version (same price) and play it on your switch 2? The way I understood it is that only switch 2 games use key cards, but all switch 1 games are the full version. I could be mistaken.

It's a shame they don't offer an upgrade for the switch 1 version. I got that before the switch2 version was available, assuming there would at least be a paid upgrade, if not free.

I don't have any key cards yet but I'm pretty sure you can play the game even with no internet, as long as you have it downloaded already. The issue is that you can't re-download it in that scenario. Which if you buy the game digitally, you are in that same screwed over position anyways.

The switch 1 version may not be fully enhanced as the switch 2 version, but it will play fine and may actually get a performance boost by running on the switch 2's more powerful hardware
