Since it runs linux instead of android performance is just fine and will perform better than the 2022 fire stick. But fyi no sideloading and limited apps. Will need to wait for more apps to release for this device. But it's worth it for the remote. I had the code "STREAM4K" available so I got it for $9.99.

This is one with the Vega OS, which is bug riddled garbage and also doesn't allow any kind of side loading etc. Not a good product.

Love Amazon devices. But hoping they don't take radical measures removing currently sideloaded apps. A lot of apps are mostly playlist players. If it happens, and developers don't come up with bypassing the security, all my Amazon devices will end up in trash for sure.
