I have this unit and like it. (first time CPAP user). I've only had it a couple months and did my compliance report. In Jan I'm facing $283 Medicare DME deductible plus the montly 20% until the 13th month The cost is close to break even and I think I'd rather own mine now for the $500.

I've read this on a cpap forum, the trick is to tilt the tank when inserting it, the side facing the machine is lower, while the side away from the machine is higher, and then when you insert it, it will lock snugly in place and will not leak

I've been trying that method for 2 months now, not a single leak.

By the way, I got the AirMini for about $515 on cpapninja, so it's basically same price as AS11 right now. Of course the extra parts cost a bit.

That's way too personal of a question was it is HUGELY dependent on you preferences and tolerances. I only use nasal pillows and have for a decade. The few times I've had to try other mask times (hospitalized, sleep study, head cold), it's been miserable. Some hate something touching their nostrils, I can't imagine having something pressing against my nose/forehead all the time.

It sounds kind of trite, but the best mask is the one you'll wear.

I have the Airfit N30i. If you can teach yourself to breathe thought your nose while you sleep, it's a nice mask. But keep in mind what AbstractedPudding said.
