Ah I probably ignored those Microcenter deals cause I don't have one close by. Do y'all think we're going to get another deal like that, should I wait?

Definitely. Both the MC and the Lenovo deal will make another round. The latter being cheaper than the previous one, probably between $2799-2999.
Dang, is this the best RTX5090 legion deal in a while? Pls talk me out of buying it lol.
If you're comfortable with certified refurb/open box, yesterday lenovo had this model with 64gb/2tb ssd for 2480 and I got one for a total of 2200 with taxes due to the paypal 20% cashback when using pay later method.
Traveling right now with the Legion 7i Pro Gen 10 and just left Boracay, it's borderline more a desktop repalcement
I guess I have different tolerances, for me it's portable enoiugh. I consider the 18" class like the Alienware Area 51 18 or Legion 9 or MSI Raider as desktop replacements.
Anything that can fit in a typical laptop backpack (16") like this Legion 7 Pro is portable enough, plus I like having a powerful cooling system since sometimes I run some multithreaded workloads

Those are great deals, but not super reproducible since they the stock is so small. Right now the only outlet laptops are grossly overpriced 14th gen Intels.

Then you either don't fly at all or can afford 1st class seats. The legion is all about useless in an economy seat tray.

I used to use my 15" laptop on planes but now I just answer emails on my phone on the plane and just do any computer work when I arrive. For me I need a mouse anyway so I find that my productivity rate is low enough it's better just to relax until I can have a more spacious desk. I do respect different people have different priorities. I personally did prefer the 15" laptop size over the 16" things have evolved to.
I will have to try the Legion on JetBlue next time though.
