This laptop is imo the best 5060 15/16" on the market at basically any price point. Only thing it needs is more ram (one slot open so just drop another 16 GB in) and a second SSD installed (has a second slot open for that).

Build quality is great basically the same as the Pros imo same keyboard as well I believe, screen is just gorgeous, battery life for a gaming laptop is good at 6+ hours of normal use. And over the Legion 5 pros this has rear battery and HDMI which if you have never had before are game changers for day to day use and longevity.

Full powered 115. I THINK it even has boost past that but can't 100% remember based on my brief time with my cousins.

Is this worth $200 more than the microcenter legion for $800? Only difference is the OLED screen

Oled's are amazing. It will look much better Almost feel like it takes up the quality a tier in resolution. Just depends on of the image quality is worth the cost for you.

Imo yes. The OLED screen is dramatically better. Like "You couldn't buy a gaming laptop with a screen this good 3 years ago for any amount of money" better. Also if you plan to keep it for more than a few years, the extra brightness is important as all monitors have fade over time. 300 nits may be bright enough when brand new in indoors conditions, but after a few years that can dip to 2-220 or even less and become awful to use.

Also the OLED weighs a little less I believe.

Man, what a shame. This a pretty great laptop for this price point, especially since it has an OLED display and has Legion build quality, but as usual Nvidia ruined it by putting only 8GB VRAM in the 5060. It's fine for 1080p but not for 1440p+ which this screen is using...
They screwed us over even more since jumping up to 5070 still gives us this limitation, and 5070 Tis are way more than just $1000.

At least the 5060s can be found for cheap like the micro center one.
