I signed up with the link and can confirm it doesn't work on any device that isn't a fire tv device. Tried using it on my phone, browser, and LG tv and it doesn't work on any of them. Tried logging in directly through HBO and using prime as a service provider and got an error saying HBO can't verify my subscription.

Amazon and Roku have advertised that they will offer 12 months of HBO Max for $2.99 a month starting tomorrow. (The regular price is $10.99 a month.) A Hulu/Disney Plus bundle of $4.99 a month is also expected to be added on Monday. Paramount Plus will be reduced to $2.99 a month for two months starting on Tuesday.

Thanks for the link - I see the $2.99 pricing, but I don't see an option to actually sign up. I do see an error message stating "You don't have any devices connected to your account. Shop compatible devices by browsing some of Amazon's Fire TVs or Fire Tablets now." - I'm unclear if I need to get a Fire TV device to take advantage of this deal? Sorry for the naivete...

Not sure about this. Good question. I do have a button that says subscribe now on my page, but I'm a current Prime and Max subscriber. I plan on buying this for my brother though so hoping it's not through the Prime app but works using the standalone Max app.

Works for me...Thanks! I do see that it is showing as only available on my Fire TV devices (Fire stick and Fire TV). Not sure once I subscribe if it will work on others.
