This Husky mobile workbench is a sturdy, space-saving storage cabinet that works especially well for bigger tools, printers, or garage gear. The 18 inch depth fits tight spaces, and the drawers are praised for smooth, self or soft closing action. The built in power strip with USB ports is a useful upgrade over the Harbor Freight Yukon, and the cabinet is described as holding up well over years of garage use. Main caveats are the heavy box, limited assembly, and the shallower drawer layout, which favors larger items over lots of small hand tools.

Common Questions (6)

  • It ships in a large box and can fit in vehicles like a Tesla Model Y, Chevy Tahoe, 2020 Santa Fe, minivan, Golf with the rear seats down, and a 5th gen 4Runner with the seats down. The carton is about 50.2 x 21.8 x 31.9 inches and weighs 200 lbs, so unloading usually takes two people.

  • It may arrive fully assembled or be assembled at the store from the box. When assembly is needed, it is usually limited to attaching the wheels, side handle, and power strip.

  • Yes. Several buyers received price adjustments or refunds after buying at a higher price, including credits of about $25, $50, and $53 with tax, and one return/rebuy was required for a price change.

  • The Husky version adds a built-in power strip with USB ports and is reported to have more drawers and smoother drawers than the Yukon. The Yukon version is also described as lacking soft-close drawers.

  • The 18-inch depth is close to the footprint of many 3D printers and has been used successfully for printers like a Bambu P1S and a Saturn 4 Ultra. It also works well where space is tight, including garage entries and enclosed trailers, though heavier printers may need shimming or a more adjustable table.

  • It has auto-closing drawers, but it does not have soft-close drawers. The drawer slides are rated at 100 lbs, and the cabinet is a standard-duty model with a 1,500 lb total capacity.

It comes in a big box and you have to assemble the wheels and side handle. It doesn't take very long to put together but it is VERY heavy!

Great price ! I got one in white couple month ago, and like it. Good quality.
Main advantage over harbor freight analog is auto closing drawers.
If you going to buy it, check different locations around you, because they may have different prices. For example there is 1 store 20 minute away from me that had white color for $300, but its $400 at other stores.
Does this come assembled? I ordered one. Trying to figure out if I need a truck to pick it up. Would it fit in the back of an SUV?

I was literally about to purchase the similar Yukon model from harbor freight. I already have one of those which are great - this one seems to have additional features and I am able to use military discount for an additional 10% off. Thanks!

It comes in a box, but usually they assemble it for you at the store.
I think all they do is attach wheels and handles on the side and power strip.
I have chevy tahoe, and it fits inside no problem. its not that big, according to their site its 46x36x18". so make sure you have couple extra inches in your car just to make sure.

This is 10" longer, but has less but bigger drawers. This is mostly for bigger items storage, like electric tools and stuff. While this HD cabinet has a lot of small height drawers, mostly used for hand tools storage such as screwdrivers, wrenches, bits etc. So you decide what you need it for and if its worth it for you.

The Craftsman is made in the USA 'from global materials' while the Husky... isn't. IIRC the Craftsman is a little nicer in person. Neither of the wood tops are much to speak of, they're thin and scratch easily.
Really though the Craftsman is a different drawer config and either you need a bunch of shallow drawers or a couple deep ones and that'll make the call

Has anyone used this for 3D printers before? or similar
My Dad got one for this. It does OK. He's just got a little Bambu P1S sitting on it, so nothing particularly big or fast. The workbench has some weight to it, but it can move around on the casters (loading it up with stuff helps) and it's not self leveling in any way so you may have to shim it if the floor is uneven. It's not a bad choice. If you've got a larger, faster printer that really throws weight around you might want a real table / workbench with adjustable legs, and add mass with a concrete paver or something if needed.

Not trying to be snarky here, but "Free Pickup"? Do they usually charge to pick one of these up?

It comes in a big box, they'll load it into you truck or SUV. Fit in my Tesla Model Y. The casters, handle, is stored in the drawers which saves space. The box dimensions are posted on their site.

No but they actually have to get it pulled from the back and they load it into your truck/SUV with a forklift, so it not like you just walk out with it

The Harbor Freight Yukon 46" which is probably the exact same cabinet (without the power strip though) is also on sale, same price for Inside Track, different colors, if for some reason you prefer HF. https://www.harborfreight.com/46-...56613.html
