I used to have one of these. It's a good tool box. I'd recommend spending a bit more for 24 inch deep versions. If you're tight for cash or depth of space this is a solid buy.

Very similar, but this has built-in power strip with usb ports while the Yukon doesn't.

I was actually looking at the Yukon box last week, saw the "compare to Husky xxxx" and decided to look up the Husky version to actually compare and saw it was on sale for cheaper than the Yukon.

This Husky mobile workbench is a sturdy, space-saving storage cabinet that works especially well for bigger tools, printers, or garage gear. The 18 inch depth fits tight spaces, and the drawers are praised for smooth, self or soft closing action. The built in power strip with USB ports is a useful upgrade over the Harbor Freight Yukon, and the cabinet is described as holding up well over years of garage use. Main caveats are the heavy box, limited assembly, and the shallower drawer layout, which favors larger items over lots of small hand tools.

home tool organizers who want to roll it into place and load it quickly because multiple commenters said store pickup units were pre-assembled and they could roll it to the register and load it into their vehicle.
WoodyG TobyX
3D printer owners using a smaller footprint setup because commenters noted the 18-inch depth is close to most 3D printers and one user used it for a Bambu P1S without needing anything bigger.
DAKn2 BlueGorilla7237
garage owners who want a mobile tool cabinet with auto-closing drawers because commenters said the main advantage over similar options is the auto-closing feature.
mer063
DIYers storing bigger electric tools because this model has fewer but larger drawers (and is described as mostly for bigger items storage like electric tools).
mer063
people with limited depth along a garage wall because commenters said the 18-inch depth from track to wall is a perfect fit for that kind of entry layout.
GhostGrayBolt
buyers who need a built-in power strip for charging/plugging in tools because commenters highlighted the included power strip with USB ports as a useful upgrade versus comparable cabinets.

people who need soft-close doors/drawers because commenters said this cabinet does not have soft-close doors (and the Yukon comparison also lacks soft-close).
AmusedSparrow7911 Manuel316
buyers who can't get help unloading a very heavy cabinet because multiple commenters warned it's very heavy and recommended having two people (or even multiple helpers) to get it out safely.
andrewdvan Inglewood78
full-time mechanics or anyone expecting heavy-duty drawer slide performance because one commenter reported drawer slides failed quickly (three broken) even without heavy storage and warned that replacement would be more involved due to the riveted construction.
pknipper
shoppers who only have a small car and can't handle store pickup logistics because commenters said there's no delivery at the $298 price and pickup requires driving to the store (not suitable for a Honda Civic).

The cabinet can fit inside common SUVs when transported in the box with seats folded down.
mer063 geewhynot GHernandez18
The cabinet includes a built-in power strip with USB ports for convenient tool charging.
dangeralert WiseMarmot630
The drawer system can auto-close or self/soft-close, which helps keep drawers shut.
mer063 Midniteoyl
The 18-inch depth can work well for tight spaces like an enclosed trailer or garage entry.
Midniteoyl GhostGrayBolt

The cabinet is very heavy, which can make unloading and returns difficult.
andrewdvan BobBobBobbin
The drawer slides can fail quickly, with multiple slides breaking even without heavy storage.
pknipper
Store pickup units can arrive pretty damaged, which may require extra checking before accepting.
pacman07
Soft-close doors are not included, so the cabinet may not match expectations for door cushioning.

Common Questions (6)

It ships in a large box and can fit in vehicles like a Tesla Model Y, Chevy Tahoe, 2020 Santa Fe, minivan, Golf with the rear seats down, and a 5th gen 4Runner with the seats down. The carton is about 50.2 x 21.8 x 31.9 inches and weighs 200 lbs, so unloading usually takes two people.
mer063 crazycuz2k_chi Inglewood78 uselessinfodude
It may arrive fully assembled or be assembled at the store from the box. When assembly is needed, it is usually limited to attaching the wheels, side handle, and power strip.
andrewdvan mer063 Inglewood78 TobyX
Yes. Several buyers received price adjustments or refunds after buying at a higher price, including credits of about $25, $50, and $53 with tax, and one return/rebuy was required for a price change.
crazycuz2k_chi tend BobBobBobbin ChillBro420
The Husky version adds a built-in power strip with USB ports and is reported to have more drawers and smoother drawers than the Yukon. The Yukon version is also described as lacking soft-close drawers.
dangeralert Midniteoyl snj1013 Manuel316
The 18-inch depth is close to the footprint of many 3D printers and has been used successfully for printers like a Bambu P1S and a Saturn 4 Ultra. It also works well where space is tight, including garage entries and enclosed trailers, though heavier printers may need shimming or a more adjustable table.
BlueGorilla7237 DAKn2 eas1dna GhostGrayBolt
It has auto-closing drawers, but it does not have soft-close drawers. The drawer slides are rated at 100 lbs, and the cabinet is a standard-duty model with a 1,500 lb total capacity.

This would make a nice TV stand. Just remove the bottom drawers for your VCR and Stereo receiver to receive signal from your remote.

Bought this for store pick up today. Unfortunately all of them were pretty damaged. I ended up grabbing one still and the supervisor gave me an additional 100$ off. Hopefully everything functions fine, but for 200$ its a steal!!

Only the ugly colors like tan, army green, & black are available for $298 & no delivery. You gotta drive your cargo van or truck over there for pick up. This deal not for you if you drive a Honda civic.

Picked up a "pre-assembled" one in Austin a few minutes ago. When I got there, the employee had just finished wrapping the workbench in plastic wrap. He said it had just came out the box and got assembled. He and another employee loaded it into my 2026 CRV with the seats folded down in case that helps anyone wondering if it'll fit a CRV.

I ordered one for pickup from an sf bay area store (east bay). They called me 2 days later at 7am saying they dont have it in stock and it was an error. Another 5 min later said they will have it delivered to my address for free (yay!) in 2 days. 3 days later they delivered a freaking monster of a toolbox (61inch) and left when I was not home. Apparently they came in a big truck with a power lift! Now they wont even take it back using chat - want me to arrange pickup and pay for pickup with the store. Guess I am keeping the heck of a deal (61 inch box costs 1000ish) and will be scouring SD for tools to fill in this monster lol
