PSA: If you don't need the Hulu and happen to live near a Krogers, you can get Kroger Boost membership (free same day delivery) + Disney included for $50 for 1 year (Black Friday, half off membership price). That's like $4 a month. I already get Hulu for $1.99 with student discount, so I went the Kroger route instead

TY for sharing. Will still do this but it's a tougher call at $5. Hulu is worth $0 to me and Disney Plus is iffy, at best.

Might just be that we have different taste in programming but I really like Hulu.
Some of the Hulu shows are listed here.

Says only for new members. When I cancelled my subscription and try making an account with a new email it keeps saying error. Any way around this?

No matter the price, I can't wrap my head around how we have been conditioned to PAY FOR ADS.

I assume he's talking about Amex BCP which gets you $10 a month statement credit.

Honestly though I'd rather pay $20 ($10 net) for Disney Hulu no commercials, than $5 for free with ads, if you have or get that card.

Don't Verizon customers get the D+/Hulu/ESPN bundle for like $7 a month?

Seems like that's a better deal if you have use for ESPN as well.

edit: before anyone asks, search "Verizon Hulu" on SD, there was a recent post.

You're paying for content... if you don't want ads you have the option to pay more. What are you complaining about?

I have a subscription that is already cancelled managed through Hulu that ends tomorrow.

What is my best route here because I don't seem to be able to subscribe tp this right now. Is the best bet just to start an entirely new Disney+ account to use this deal, or will I be able to use this once the Hulu based one is actually dead?

Or the Amex Platinum's $25/month digital entertainment credits:

If you have a platinum membership they credit you monthly for digital entertainment. I think it's $20-25 bucks now. It just went up...along with the annual fee!

Same thing happened in my life for cable. I studied the reasons for years and it after reading several books and research papers the reason is complicated and actually gets people killed.

Them stifling free speech with Kimmel made me finally cancel this. Disney needs to fire the morons that made that decision to earn back trust first.

You must be young. They use to have this thing called cable tv. You'd be surprised how many ads you saw. And you had to pay. Crazy I know
