yes, if the VPN is setup to connect outside of the U.S. Disney would see your streaming device as outside of their streaming region.

I cancelled mine just to see and it said I could stream through Dec 24, 2025 so if you cancel you get a month for $5 then nothing. Kind of annoying because you have to set a reminder in your phone to remember to cancel this next year. Plus side, if a better deal comes out you can cancel this and jump on that

I completely agree with you. I am old enough to understand paying to watch ads in cable tv. In fact streaming services make more money from ad based subscription than ad-free. As more people start subscribing, ads and premium will increase and slowly it will become like cable tv. Stay away from ads based subscription. It is defeating the purpose of streaming and watching like a movie theater
