PSA: If you don't need the Hulu and happen to live near a Krogers, you can get Kroger Boost membership (free same day delivery) + Disney included for $50 for 1 year (Black Friday, half off membership price). That's like $4 a month. I already get Hulu for $1.99 with student discount, so I went the Kroger route instead

TY for sharing. Will still do this but it's a tougher call at $5. Hulu is worth $0 to me and Disney Plus is iffy, at best.

For those already using their Amex to pay, if you switch to a new account , you need a new payment? Then we'd lose the Amex credit...

Do I wait for Thursday/Friday to sign up so when next year rolls off I can see the options as sometimes this only rolls out on Black Friday... or will they term the offer early.

For anyone who can't stomach the ads, (I hear they're rather excessive with Disney+) and has an existing Disney+ account, (no Hulu) I went to cancel my monthly plan just now, and was offered 3 months ad-free for $9.99, rather than the usual $18.99. I only do monthly because my Amex BCE card gives me $7 back each month, which is cheaper than annual in total.

I know it's only 3 months, but that's still $27 saved over the next 3 months.

With ads also means they don't stream in Atmos surround. If you have that equipment and hoping to put it to use, it's just 5.1 surround.
