PSA: If you don't need the Hulu and happen to live near a Krogers, you can get Kroger Boost membership (free same day delivery) + Disney included for $50 for 1 year (Black Friday, half off membership price). That's like $4 a month. I already get Hulu for $1.99 with student discount, so I went the Kroger route instead

TY for sharing. Will still do this but it's a tougher call at $5. Hulu is worth $0 to me and Disney Plus is iffy, at best.

I can't be the only one that thinks this isn't a good deal. I don't need Disney + but would like to keep Hulu for like $1 or $2 a month. Any more than that and it's just not worth it... All this consolidation is trying to make us pay for crap we don't need/want, just like cable used to be!

Did the Hulu+Disney deal two years ago. Almost never watched Disney. This past year did Hulu+Starz. Did not watch either a lot, but I suppose it was worth $1.98/mo. No way is Hulu+Disney worth $5/mo to us.

No $1 or 2/mo Hulu deal means we'll simply skip Hulu for 2026 and lose no sleep over it.

If u go to your disney+ account (manage your account), scroll down to 'your other services', then activate hulu. Then u can access your hulu separately. At least it worked for me with this new deal. Fyi, I used a PC so not sure if u can do it on your phone.
Thank you so much. I was having a lot of trouble and this worked!

I saw it somewhere in the comments when reviewing, but I can confirm success as a T-Mobile customer, first enabling Hulu for free via T-Mobile manage add-ons, completing the Hulu subscription at the Hulu website, and then logging in at Disney+ with the same email address and selecting the $12.99 plan. With Hulu enabled via T-Mobile, the payment page shows an "overlapping subscription credit" of $11.99 and a total due of $1.00. If Disney were to raise their price to $14.99 / month, I suspect the upgrade price per month will increase to $3.00.
One other note I saw on reddit if you go this path - "DO NOT BUY ANY UPGRADES on the Hulu site -- that will mess up your T-Mobile billing. I can't emphasize this enough -- all upgrades have to be done on the Disney+ side."

It only shows espn unlimited at $29.99 and shows unavailable for this bundle.
Thank you! I almost signed up. What about the non-unlimited ESPN add-on? Is that available?

Been waiting for this, the price hikes are a shame tho.
2 years ago this was $2, last year it was $3 and it's $5.
The access to new Disney movies, FX Hulu shows and the simpson library is worth it I think.
Even at $5 its not bad. I do wish it was stilll $3

That one is locked to Amazon Fire devices and won't work any other way. Here's the link to the same price direct from HBO that works on any device

https://slickdeals.net/f/18860326-select-eligible-hbo-max-customers-1-year-hbo-max-basic-w-ads-subscription-3-month-valid-thru-eligible-providers-supported-devices
just go directly to hbo's website and you can subscribe for 2.99/mth without any type of device.

Sorry if this has been asked, can't figure out how to search the 40+ pages of comments... I currently have Hulu free via my Spotify subscription. In order to do this bundle deal, I need to cancel my hulu account set up via Spotify. Is the only way to do that is to cancel my Spotify premium subscription?

I would just create an new account for Hulu and leave the free one alone

Maybe a dumb question, but anyone know if it's possible to cancel the Disney+ part after signing up for this offer? That way you can just pay for Hulu only. I really don't want Disney+.

Wow this got some weird perma-top-of-list evergreen deal status, how much did Disney have to pay SD for that?

Long time Hulu guy here, Disney gobbled up Hulu from Comcast and Fox completely, they switched the login to Disney plus. Their plans are to make Hulu a thing of the past, an appendix in the Disney archive. I personally liked the FXX/20th Century content, it's going to be lost in a sea of light sabers and princesses.

So, short answer is, there problably wont be a "Hulu" only option for long. The upside to this is Hulu's accounting pages really sucked and I made the mistake of buying gift cards once. There was no way to check the balance or what was applied to your account. If the Hulu Gift Card experience goes the way of the dodo bird, so be it. They could have easily fixed it but it the trash accounting worked to their advantage. You had to call to figure it out. Crazy right?
