PSA: If you don't need the Hulu and happen to live near a Krogers, you can get Kroger Boost membership (free same day delivery) + Disney included for $50 for 1 year (Black Friday, half off membership price). That's like $4 a month. I already get Hulu for $1.99 with student discount, so I went the Kroger route instead

TY for sharing. Will still do this but it's a tougher call at $5. Hulu is worth $0 to me and Disney Plus is iffy, at best.

Yeah that's what I just did used relay email in firefox and signed up right in Disney website for the $5 deal using paypal. Didn't really want to mess with existing account which is technically thru Hulu which is going away soon anyways as everyone in thread is saying. Current Disney account is add on when that was a thing with Hulu but got switched to direct Hulu account when they got rid of the addons etc.. It's actually quite a mess tbh cuz sometimes on my devices when I want to watch something it will make me login into Hulu or Disney or both which is annoying AF. Hoping creating a new account will seamlessly work without asking me to login all the time like with old account we'll see I guess LOL.

But yeah unless u talk to chat and have them immediately cancel existing subscription will just see error message like in pic Mad

Yeah like I showed in my post will just get error saying u can't get deal if u still have subscription and didn't cancel before nov 25 when deal started. My current sub doesn't end till next month so only way around is talk to support like some said and hope they immediately cancel sub and give u refund on current account or just make new one if u don't want to deal with that.
people that got chat support to immediately cancel got lucky and had support that didn't even read the fineprint in the deal cuz plainly says no refunds or credit for partial months like some in this thread said they got laugh out loud
