got this in the same deal a few weeks ago. it doesnt feel too great in my hand, like palming a hollow plastic shell. in other words it's pretty light. it has on/off switch though, and the receiver can be tucked inside the battery compartment, so it's probably great to get thrown in your bag for emergency use.
