NUTSHELL: Samsung has a higher refresh rate (240 vs 144 -- screenshot is wrong) and has smart TV functionality.

I haven't used the Samsung, but I'm typing on the MSI now and love it. So much so that I've ordered a second for work.

I got this screen like 2-3 months ago for $329 new! Not bad for 144hz. Haven't gamed yet as I'm attempting to build a new $3k setup but these rams have tripled in price unfortunately

Currently on 7-12 day back order but B&H has the MSI MPG 491CQPX QD-OLED 49" 1440p HDR 240 Hz Curved Ultrawide Gaming Monitor for $799.99. Summary differences are The Samsung G9 G95C can get much brighter in HDR and SDR but will never match the MSI's per‑pixel contrast and response times per Perplexity. Depending on your preference it's an option.
