This Legion 5i stands out as a well rounded gaming laptop for the money, with an Ultra 7 255HX, RTX 5060, 32GB of RAM, 1TB SSD, and a QHD plus OLED display. The extra memory and storage, along with the OLED panel, are the main reasons it feels stronger than cheaper 16GB and 512GB alternatives. The Intel chip is seen as efficient, but it may give up some battery life and Linux friendliness versus AMD. B and H's return policy is also a drawback, so it fits best when the specs and price are the priority.

Common Questions (4)

  • The Costco version has a Core Ultra 9 275HX and Costco perks like a stronger return policy and warranty, but this B&H deal has a slightly higher RTX 5060 TGP at 115W versus 105W. This one also includes an OLED display, which the Costco deal lacks.

  • This configuration adds 32GB RAM, a 1TB SSD, and a QHD+ OLED panel, which makes the extra cost easier to justify than 16GB/512GB IPS models. The price gap is especially relevant because RAM and SSD prices are high right now.

  • The Intel Ultra 7 255HX is described as fairly efficient, but the AMD versions are expected to have better battery life and smoother Linux support. The Legion is also described as a bit bulky compared with thinner alternatives.

  • B&H's return policy is restrictive: opened computers cannot have their original packaging unsealed, and many items are nonreturnable. That makes the deal best for buyers who are already sure they want the laptop.

That's a bad deal and def doesn't have better specs than the costco one. The i9 hx chips, while good at performance, are terrible at battery life and also overheat a lot. They're literally old gen. The Ultra HX chips are performant and more efficient. An OLED panel also isn't really "better". It's arguable. That one has a smaller screen, the screen is extremely glossy, and has burn-in risks (yes these still exist in 2025). 16GB ram for that price is pretty bad. You're getting 32GB here. That is much much more valuable today.

Can I get the laptop for less than the listed price? Is it possible to use a discount code on this website, or does it not accept codes? I don't see a place to enter a discount code when I try to make a purchase
