FYI this is the older version that only charges iPhone 16+ at 25W.

The following is the newer version with Qi2.2 25W that will work with Androids. It was $29 a few weeks ago.

I don't see why people are buying magsafe cause when you charge the phone, you still need cable (usb-c or magsafe) anyway. magsafe also introduces unnecessary heat that is going to degrade the battery faster than if you charge using old fashion usb cable.

i don't see the advantage of magsafe beside reducing wear and tear on your charging port... someone can enlighten me?

I just upgraded to the 17 pro, it's still in the box, one of the big reasons is my lightning port on my 12 pro started acting wonky. Would only accept a charge from new cables then those wouldn't work either. Have had to limp by only charging it wirelessly. But yes it can be very inefficient. I've heard that the newer MagSafe charger does a good job keeping cool so hopeful that helps. I do with you could choose the option of slow charging.

Doesn't the description from the post mention that it's the qi2.2 25w version?

That's the tricky part. It's qi2 not qi 2.2. its a qi2 charger that only charges new iPhones at 25w
