What is the difference between this and this other one from ebay Dyson refurbished:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/27752078...%3A2332490

Update: Seems like the one with one more attachment is the older airwrap version with 3 heat settings vs the one linked by the poster has 2 precise heat settings (newer version but not the latest one which is called airwrap i.d.)???

Both are the same model HS05. While, the eBay listing for mine mentions 2 heat settings, it lists 3 settings in the description. I guess they tagged it incorrectly. However, yours seems to come with diffuser attachment, which is a better deal overall.

Community Reviews

Dyson's HS05 Airwrap Complete Long refurb stands out as a strong value on the styling tool, especially when the bundle includes the diffuser and full attachment set. The Walmart refurb is described as professionally inspected and cleaned, with free shipping and return coverage on Like New, Good, and Fair conditions, while Dyson direct refurbs are nonreturnable. The main cautions are the inconsistent heat setting details in the listing, the need to check warranty coverage, and concerns about seller ratings and hair breakage. It is a compelling refurb if the condition and return terms work for you.

  • Dyson refurb shoppers who want to minimize risk by verifying the return policy first because community members warned Dyson refurbs may not accept returns, while other retailers like Walmart may accept returns (with conditions), so it's best for people who will check before buying.

    NwfdroolNwfdroolmegakimcheelove

  • people shopping for a Dyson Airwrap HS05 long-hair setup because they want a refurbished price that's still competitive (and may include a warranty/returns depending on the condition), as commenters said it's a great deal if it comes with a warranty and noted Walmart's restored options with return windows and warranty terms.

    rammgasmmegakimcheelove

  • buyers who are okay double-checking eBay listing details because they're trying to get the right attachment bundle (like a diffuser) and noticed the HS05 listings can have inconsistent heat-setting info but the one with the diffuser attachment was considered the better deal overall.

    dealhunteradam555aprideangel

  • people who want to use the Airwrap as an alternative to curling/straightening irons because one long-time user said it hasn't caused damage for them and feels much less damaging than curling or straightening irons.

    rnma100

  • buyers who need easy returns on a Dyson refurb because commenters said Dyson refurbs don't accept returns (and one buyer implied that's a deal risk).

    NwfdroolNwfdrool

  • people who are very concerned about hair breakage because at least one commenter specifically warned that the Airwrap causes significant hair damage/breakage.

    Marie17777

  • people who rely on "% off" marketing comparisons because commenters called out the "58% off" framing as misleading when the comparison price is for a brand-new unit and refurbs aren't actually selling at that level.

    dealsteal123

  • buyers who want the most reliable seller experience on eBay because one commenter said the refurb had poor reviews from the seller and they chose to pay more for a sale unit from Costco instead.

This reasoning does not work. Why did Johnson's baby powder with all the asbestos related issues sell for as long? If you are right, why do you need the EPA or any consumer right organization?
wow. learn something everyday .. thought you were being silly with the baby powder comment, i douse in that stuff daily for many years.. I had no idea until i just googled it
(i obviously knew something was controversial about it and assumed it was the reason they switched to corn starch, but had no idea it was actually related to asbestos)

Beware, this causes a ton of hair damage/breakage!!
I've used one for years and it has not caused damage. Feels much less damaging than curling or straightening irons.

Showing this as 58% off is misleading. It's a refurb and the comparison price is for a brand new one. Refurbs are never selling at $600.

Certainly doesn't have the greatest reviews from the seller. I'll just pay the extra money and buy one on sale from Costco.
On sale at Costco right now for $500

Still a better price than what the Dyson site is selling for the same refurb. Also, when buying directly from Dyson, refurbs are non-returnable. At least Walmart accepts returns. Double check on that though.

Ebay is running a similar deal with code CYBERWEEK20. I think it works out out to be about the same price if you'd prefer to shop there.

Walmart has 25% back via c 1 this weekend, too. Combine that with the 20% PayPal rewards and it's a great deal.
Edit: on, I didn't realize you couldn't do the PayPal deal with Walmart.
