My kid wants a digital camera that's pocketable and isn't a smartphone. Maybe I'll go with this, unless anybody has better suggestions? Amazon is FULL of no-name Chinese cameras which all look identical and have awful reviews
Did you end up picking one up? Thoughts?
I am in the same boat for 2 of my daughters this Xmas. I've looked thru all the imported Amazon stuff... I'm sure this is the same but at least I recognize the brand.

I got one for my kids, and the quality is garbage. Photos look blurry unless background is bright, and you have to be very still or photos will be out of focus. It's going back to walmart. A cheapo Motorola phone camera is light years ahead of this.

That stinks to hear. I got one, but it's a Christmas present. My daughter will mostly take stills with friends, I suspect, and maybe some scenery photos.
I see there ARE good point and shoot digital cameras being made today, but they're $400 - 1,000!

Yeah I was baffled before I finally figured this out. I legitimately thought my niblings were asking for garbage.
Turns out, its a trend.
