I have a slightly differently configured heater from the same brand. Can't say enough good things about it. Mine might be the previous version.

Not sure it really matters it is a space heater and we do not know the skematics. Since the power in is AC there is no point to convert unless you like losses. Unless the heater is DC and there is a transformer in it.

Ok so are you saying
They are advertising dc motor
But it's not specified if the HEATER is dc… if it is then it's worth it ? I have a ton of mini heaters ( I only use one at a time )
i just thought it would save my electricity bill to get a dc motor

I heard DC fans are more efficient than AC, but your power is AC so there is a trasnformer in them that converts and that is probably ~80% efficient, so it would bite into the DC fan efficiency. BUT, the fan is essentially negligible compared to the electricity usage from the heater. Money would be better spent ensuring your home is sealed/reducing leaks, or adding/improving insulation, or switching to natural gas furnace if you have it run to you place, or adding solar panels if you want to stay electric

Ok i kind of understand what you are trying to explain to me. You're saying that the heater doesn't use the dc efficiency only the fan uses the efficiency.
Hmm I already double up on the black out curtains. Which is helping.

This similar on Amazon seems to be the better deal also has 10% back with Prime Visa.

This one posted is a Dreo 313 vs the Amazon one is a Dreo 316, which is a better model with more features (auto off at certain temperature, turning off display - this needs to be confirmed) and has a remote.
If you want to shell out a bit more, there's an oscillating version also on sale at Amazon for about $12.50 more:

Interesting that Dreo is still making these. I don't know the exact specifics but Govee got out of the smart heater game due to safety issues.

Why wouldn't they make a heater? Their heaters lack smart features, allowing you to turn it on remotely.

Govee sold 500K+ of their smart heaters, and there were only 7 instances of fires happening, and most, if not all of them, were probably due to customer neglect/ignorance.

They don't issue a full recall for nothing, there is more to it. I still have mine but I've removed it from Alexa and keep it unplugged until I need it.

FYI, if you are interested in the oscillating version, Walmart has a similar version for $37.99 vs $42.50 at Amazon. physically looks a tad different, no removable filter, but specs seem just about identical.
