Just bought a pair of these a week ago (before this deal appeared).

They sound *really* good for the money--better than some of my other IEMs that are 3x their price.
Full midrange, solid bass.

Great beginner pair! Get em!

These sound great, but expect to replace them often. My previous pair died at the 14 month mark (1 yr warranty).
I used them very sparingly, maybe 30 times in 14 months otherwise they just sat in my computer desk, no harsh conditions so I'm surprised they failed on me but they did

I got the blue ones a month ago and I really like them. Although I use them mostly for audiobooks and podcasts, music sounds pretty good too. Very comfortable and a big improvement over the budget earbuds you see so many of IMO.

While they aren't my favorite sound signature, I have to agree that they sound really good for their price range. Easy recommend for people who are getting into IEMs or just want a nice pair of wired earbuds*.
* I know they aren't technically earbuds, but I also think 320kbps and FLAC sound the same so sue me.

I've had mine for about a year. When not listening to them they are in my back pocket. They still work so I'd say quality is very good. The different tips allow you to contour the sound a little bit--it was noticeable to me.

Would anyone trade me:
a RIGHT side RED
a RIGHT side BLUE
??

Brand new, as I have not purchased. Alternatively, I can buy both, and ship you a pair of, we can split shipping + I'll lose $5:
a LEFT side RED
a RIGHT side BLUE

Are these better than Moondrop Chu II?

If the FR posted is correct, the 7Hz will have deeper bass than the Moondrop's
7Hz = 10Hz-20Khz vs. Moondrop = 20Hz-20Khz
I can't say if they actually sound better, as I do not own either.

Both are good but I prefer this over the Chu 2 in terms of sound signature. But as a personal take you won't truly know unless you actually try them both. Another really good set around the same price is the Truthear Gate.

This is irrelevant, humans generally only hear from 20hz - 20khz with some rare outliers hearing above 20khz. If you're over 20 it's highly unlikely you can hear to 20khz due to natural age related hearing loss and other accumulated hearing loss (ie: loud noises). These are also manufacturer numbers which you should take with a grain of salt. What you should be looking at is the frequency response (FR) graph on Squiglink:

https://squig.link/?share=Super_2...7Hz_Zero_2

They're very similar in tonality. I own the Zero 2 (solid budget choice) and the Chu 1 (tinny sounding, not a fan) but haven't heard the Chu 2, but I've read it's a big improvement over the Chu 1. The build quality of the Chu 2 is much better than the Zero 2, but both should be good budget options for sound quality.

I would suggest spending a bit extra $ if you can spare it though, the return on an extra + $20 or $30 in this budget range goes a long way. So if you can spare some extra $ I think it's worth looking at something in the ~$50 range. That said, this is a good budget set so a good look into the IEM world.
