If you read the terms and conditions, you can only redeem this on a Hulu or ESPN account. The Disney/Hulu bundle is billed through Disney. It states you cannot redeem this if billed on Disney, making the AMEX card member discount of $7 ineffective for the additional $3 bucks (Disney bundle $5 plus what people wanted of HBO $3 totaling $8 bucks). I personally tried and no go.

I'd go stand alone because in 2026 Hulu itself goes bye bye and will be a tab in Disney+.

Do we signup for Hulu again with different email? So that would cost Hulu + hbo separately in addition to Disney + Hulu $5 bundle.Am I missing something? Not cost effective, right?

I had a Amex card back when it was default for Costco and let it go when the switched but got one back about a year ago and I have been very happy. Has a bunch of deals (Mine had a 20 back off 250 at Best Buy along with a bunch of other stuff) so it is worth getting for no monthly fees and the deals I've gotten. Heck, it's worth it just for this perk plus it allows you to make virtual cards via Google Chrome so it's worth getting in my eyes

This is only if they won't allow you to get the promotion price again. The promotion has always been for new customers, not current.

I do know there is a seperate promotion for HBO at $3 per month.

I did this deal two years ago when it was a dollar a month for 12 months. The ads were incredibly long and frequent that I ended up never using the service. Would not recommend unless you're a masochist and enjoy the ads.

You can get the $5 bundle deal even on an existing Hulu account if you sign up for the bundle directly through the Hulu website. However, if your current subscription is still active, you'll need to cancel it first before adding the bundle. I did this myself this morning and didn't have to switch emails or create a new account this year.

"eligible returning customers". I'm not eligible, probably because I bought the one year deal last year at this time. Oh well, I have another email address and can sign up with that one and not renew existing Hulu subscription.

THANK YOU. I tried to do a bundle, and it told me that it was for new subscribers only.

For three bucks a month, I've got HBO Max for the first time ever. There's a bunch of stuff in there I've been wanting to see!

I don't have Hulu and I'm an existing annual HBO sub, expiring in April. I was able to get the $2.99 simply by going to my HBO account and seeing the offer there. It will start in April and go for 12 months.
