Also available as a standalone deal, for those who don't have Hulu.

If you read the terms and conditions, you can only redeem this on a Hulu or ESPN account. The Disney/Hulu bundle is billed through Disney. It states you cannot redeem this if billed on Disney, making the AMEX card member discount of $7 ineffective for the additional $3 bucks (Disney bundle $5 plus what people wanted of HBO $3 totaling $8 bucks). I personally tried and no go.

I'd go stand alone because in 2026 Hulu itself goes bye bye and will be a tab in Disney+.

No. That's not true. You cannot combine the $5 Hulu/Disney+ deal with the $3 HBO add-on deal, because the HBO add-on deal is offered only on non-discounted base bundles. Once you sign-up for the $5 Hulu/Disney+ deal, the HBO add-on is $10. Making it $15 total for Hulu/Disney+/HBO. After the $7 Amex credit, you'll be paying $8 per month out of pocket. Better to get the $5 Hulu/Disney+ deal, and then sign up for the HBO $3 deal separately (directly via HBO). Amex will give back $5 only. But this way you'll be paying only $3 out of pocket per month.
Thank you for this info. I thought the hulu deal was a basic sub, oh well. I was thinking I was doing something wrong. Wish someone would be clear about this up front.

Does anyone know a way to get this deal if I am currently traveling outside US? It auto-redirects me to local country offering, and hence cannot avail of the offer Frown

Hulu/Disney is $4.99
Hbomax add-on is $2.99
I do not see a Hulu/Disney+ option. Am I missing it somewhere?

Not even seeing the Disney+/Hulu option for $5/month. Is there a sign up link or are there other restrictions?

The terms states below::You can subscribe to Disney+ for $4.99 and Hulu (Hulu and HBO ) for 2.99 and still get $7 back in Amex credits. Which makes $1 out of pocket if additional payment.

The problem is you can't sign up HBO addon at $2.99 standalone or with the Hulu/Disney+ $4.99 bundle. You can sign up for HBO standalone on HBO.com but that won't get you the Amex credit.
