Are you using the Perplexity app? I suggest using Perplexity through a web browser instead. The app didn't work for me when it came to getting the instant buy button to appear.


If the response doesn't give you one of the supported retailers as an option, switch from the 'Answer' tab to the 'Shopping' tab located at the top. You will most likely find the instant buy button option there. (See my attached screenshot)

My Newegg order has a confirmation time of 11:14am yesterday. I did see rhe 50% offer during checkout before the lage swapped to PayPal login.

Maybe that's one difference, I bought from a 3rd Party seller on Newegg but it did show under the Instant Buy button on Perplexity so think I'm good there, but then also my transaction is still "Authorization in progress" I assume due to it being thru a 3rd party. Possibly when that completes I'll finally see a Rewards change.

Made Abercrombie & Fitch order a day ago. Saw offer when selecting PayPal as payment. Now shows as completed, no pending points. Might be SOL and have to return. Might be YMMV if you want to take the chance on this offer.

update: pending points just showed up. if you're still waiting, give it 2 days

It shows up in your Paypal rewards account instead of the transaction activity page.

If it's a NewEgg purchase, is there a way to use the NewEgg promo code as well? I went part way through a purchase to where you get your paypal options, but didn't see a place to enter a promo code.
