From the other post a few days ago but it makes good sense, Alf just for whoever will purchase these used: "Bought used AirPods Execellent Condition from Amazon before. Unfortunately, bad actors replaced the AirPod with a fake AirPods and returned it. Amazon gave a full refund without any hassle, but beware and make sure you check ins and outs of AirPods when you receive them. The fake ones are so close to the real ones now that it's hard to detect. But you'll eventually see nothing can match Apple quality if you look close enough."

They also don't check for item swaps. Not sure if people switch non-ANC Airpods for the ANC version, but I bought a Touch ID keyboard from Resale a few days ago and I received the non-Touch ID version in a Touch ID box.

People are jerks.

I received mine yesterday. I spent an hour to check authenticity, ANC functionality, model numbers and etc. It looks used but everything is fine.

Make sure, if you bite, that you scroll down to where different conditions are selectable. The link defaults to "Used - Acceptable", which I wouldn't touch with a 10-ft pole, especially when "Used - Like New" are available for literally $3 more. Grabbed a set for $74.xx after MN tax. No soft tips, so easier to clean with an alcohol wipe and can always send them back if these turn out to be a bad faith return of some sort.

I bought "used--like new" through amazon resale, but they are still paired to the old owner's account, and I'm getting notifications that they're able to track my location through FindMy. The settings also indicated AirPods are mismatched and I can't not finish setup. Need return.

Received mine today. The box had return stickers and looked bad. To my surprise the AirPods and case are in mint condition with a warranty until 07/26 and seem to be legit! Thanks OP
