I do t think I would ever buy a used motherboard.

If you buy through resale are you getting the whole manufacturer warranty? Also if the board needs repair I am assuming you pay to ship back to manufacturer

I bought used like new back in 2020 to save $100. Had all kinds of issues with random lock ups. Found out a pin for the CPU was bent. Thankfully I was able to bend it back and solved all the issues. Took 5 hours to figure it out. Still works just fine today. I almost did send it back for a new one at the time until the solution was found. I would just examine it carefully and make sure to burn it in for awhile to be sure. Looking back it was worth it to me.

The warranty is tied to the serial number according to ChatGPT so yes you get the full manufacturer warranty
