Lavazza's whole bean bundle stands out as a low per pound espresso coffee deal with free shipping, especially if you want Super Crema, which is repeatedly praised as the strongest blend here and works well in superautomatic machines. The three 2.2 pound bags can be mixed and matched, and the checkout math lands anywhere from about $36 to the low $40s depending on which promo code still works. Main caveats are that the original $15 code expired for some carts, the non Barista Espresso gets poor marks, and a few orders had freshness, shipping, or fulfillment issues. A solid value if the coupon applies and you are fine managing a larger coffee stash.
The deal can work out to over six pounds of whole bean coffee for $36.14 total.
The bundle checkout can apply a promo code from the in-cart screen before reaching the PayPal step.
Super Crema is described as a strong option for medium roast drinkers.
Super Crema is reported to work well in a Gaggia Academia superautomatic machine.
Promo code 1EFOMLT5 can expire or fail to apply, which reduces the final bundle price.
Gran Crema can arrive nearly five months old, which may affect freshness expectations.
Order fulfillment can be problematic, including receiving the wrong items in part of the shipment.
Some orders can take several days to ship after placing the order.
