It's amazing. I got a thumbs down for starting the CVS thread and I'm not even shopping at CVS anymore. I did the thread to give people a place to post. I really don't understand what I did to make somebody give me a thumbs down. I'm not Kiki and I never claimed to be. The best I can do is to start the thread if nobody else has done it when the ad starts. Anyway, I'm not doing the CVS thread anymore.

The Pitt on TNT is the first season, not the new one. I got really bored with the first episode especially the story about taking the guy off life support so I turned it off. I also got bored with Chance. It's taking way too long to get to the point.

I saw the latest episode of Kingstown and it just keeps on getting better. The new episode of Landman was a downer. It was all about a funeral and relationships. It was as much fun as hitting myself in the head with a brick.

I ordered something from Walmart that was on sale for black friday. I wanted to get another one, but they raised the price. I used the online chat to ask them if they would honor the price from my prior order. The rep said to order the item, then they would adjust it when the item shipped. I have contacted various chat agents, and now they are all refusing to honor this. i do have screenshots of the original chat conversation. Do not trust Walmart...

Somebody hacked my credit card the last time I used it at Walmart. They had a $169 item on sale for $23 yesterday but when I tried to order it online they wanted me to do phone verification in addition to email verification and I said no way. Then I decided that I really wanted the item but when I went back to buy it it was gone. I missed another item that was on sale for BF because I couldn't make up my mind. Now it's $40 more and out of my price range. I know what the moral of the story is and I can't believe that I blew it twice.

my walmart.com account was hacked about a year ago. someone tried to order an ipad. they are my least favorite retailer.

Right there with you. They not only placed a $300+ order, they tried to set it up to recur each month. Thankfully I was able to stop it.

I was about to place an order, just to discover that my account is disabled. Banned, I assume?
I rarely place orders, rarely return order items, but do shop in store and have returned 28% of my total spend for the last year. So I guess they don't want my business because of that? I would have suggested they wait until after I did my christmas shopping...

Any insights?

I have tried all the usual stuff, new browser, clear cookies, etc. The login screen says it sent me an email but it didn't. I'm going to call CS in case it is something simple but I'm not holding my breath

I have both Paramount and Hulu. I forgot that Kingstown is on Paramount so I tried to watch it on Hulu since they have a listing for it. Hulu was going to charge me $12.99 for a subscription to Paramount and not tell me about it. Since I already have a subscription to Paramount, this was a blatant attempt to rip me off. I never realized that a big company could be so unethical (but I should've known since I shop at CVS). Everything about Hulu pisses me off. It won't even let me log in without email verification. What the hell do I need email verification for? Hulu has twice the commercials that the other streaming services have so I had to upgrade to the $18.99 plan to keep my sanity (or what little but of it that I have left). Hulu = rip off.

If you do a return and the clerk accepts it, what exactly are you doing wrong? Maybe Walmart should train their clerks better or not have a liberal return policy if they don't want their customers to use it. Sorry everybody for going on a couple of rants. I've had one of those days.

I've got one more thing to get off my chest. Right before I was discharged from the hospital, some worker came in and gave me a pitch about in-home nursing since it's free with Medicare A. I told her that I'd think about it but I was being nice and have no interest in it. Well, she gave out my phone number to all of these scumbags and now I'm getting non-stop phone calls about wanting to be my nurse. They're even calling my emergency contact about it and now she's pissed off at me. How do I get rid of these parasites? I'm trying to recover from my surgery and I don't need to be hassled like this.

I'm listening to Roundabout by Yes on YT and it blows my mind that 98% of the comments are about anime. Yes is a legendary progressive rock group and maybe the most highly skilled rock band ever assembled. They did an acoustic concert for 500 people in the early 2000's and I was lucky enough to attend. After they finished playing, we all got a chance to meet them and they signed everything we had. Jon Anderson and Chris Squire really stood out but everybody in the band was superb. It's up there with Hendrix as the best concert that I've ever been to.
