More importantly it helps to encapsulate dirt particles and prevent them from scratching paint during washing.
If your car has a ceramic coating, it works even better.
I wouldn't wash my car with anything that didn't have ceramic and/or graphine additives in 2025.
Chemical guys makes quality products. This is a good deal.
