If you have a Pi-hole you can still block ads on Disney+, which means if you watch Hulu through Disney+ you can block ads on Hulu as well.

This can change at any time, like it did for Peacock, but it has been working like a champion for a couple years now.

Having experience with Hulu with ads, it's definitely worth it to pay a little more for no ads.
They go a little overboard.
Sometimes the ads were nearly as long as the show I was trying to watch.

I wonder what they mean by "eligible" returning subscribers. I have an active subscription for the D+/Hulu premium bundle so it won't let me use the offer now. I don't think it would hurt to cancel my current subscription and try again as a returning subscriber but has anyone tried doing that?

It's a good deal. Disney+ with no ads by itself costs more than this: $18.99, just went up last month too.

The "Spend x, earn x" offers and the Disney Streaming Credit that has to be enrolled in to receive monthly are two different things.

I signed up for this bundle yesterday and received email confirmation from AMEX today that I'll be receiving $10 statement credits for it.

I reached out via chat on disney plus website. they will cancel and prorate refund. then you can sign up with a new email address to take advantage of this

I don't have one of the amex cards with streaming credit, but I have the $10.99 off $10.99+ disney and hulu bundle one. i wonder if it will work even with this deal or if it only works with ad free. If it would work, I could maybe do the with ads plan deal on one account and this one on the other and pause the first one for months 2 and 3. Then I'd get the first 3 months ad free for about $17 total anf then after that use the with ads plan for $5/mo for 9 months.

edit: the terms don't say it must be the ads plan so I assume if it didn't work, contacting them would make them have to give it.
