Only the $70 plan gives the $300 GC. The $50 plan only gives out $100

Price was the big advantage for T-Mobile home internet, but there are better options in the $50 a month price range.

What's the catch here? You pay ~$50x2=$100, and they give you a $300 visa GC? Seems like free $200 minimum (more if you stack with C1 Shopping offers, or CC offers)...? Am i missing something?
You are missing $70 x 2 = $140 - $300 = $160. With 1 month free, if you have a capital one card, that it would be -$400 + -$160 = -$560 + $770 = $210 for 12 months or $17.50 a month. If you don't have capital one, it's a pointless endeavor of ISP hopping. Just get mint mobile for $40 and be done with it.

This service was garbage in nyc. Not only that but that prevented vpn access (Tailscale still worked). To add insult to injury they never sent the promised $300 gift card. Apparently you are supposed to fill out a paper request form which they don't tell you about until after a half dozen customer "service" requests.

Overall stay far away. We are leaving T-Mobile overall after over 25 years. Nothing but frustration and pain for the last few years. Not a good deal anymore and definitely not worth the constant suffering

Not a good deal when it used to be $25 a month or the very worst $35, plus you got a gift card too. There prices change way too often.

I was hoping on finding more about how the actual service is vs the $300 rebate.

Unless you ask your next door neighbor impossible for anyone to help much. If you have tmobile on your phone turn off your wifi and do some speedtests to get a general idea what you're looking at. I suggest you do it in the evening when most everyone's home as speeds will be worse then.

I believe only if the service is cancelled within 20-30 days, we will be eligible for full refund of equipment cost ??

If you have a Capital One credit card, they also have an offer for $225.00 cash back. I just used it. For me it was a Quicksilver Capital One card. So theoretically, I'll get $225.00 from Capital One and $300.00 from T-Mobile.
Same. I had $400 through capital one shopping and will apply for $300 for T-Mobile. Making this slick.

If you ever have trouble with a phone provider honoring a promotion, just file an FCC complaint. They have gotten back to me the next day and resolved it so quickly. complaint.https://consumercomplaints.fcc.go...int-Issues

Spectrum and AT&T both have much better internet service (cable and/or fiber) at a comparable price. It is obviously dependent on your location, though.

My spectrum is $83/month. AT&T is not available. I am in need of somebody Wireless so I can ditch Spectrum.
