As far as I know, Nothing. Just a rebranded Fire TV 4K so it will distinct itself from the 4K Select (1st gen) model that was just recently released.
4K Max - top tier
4K Plus - mid tier
4K Select - lower budget tier
FireTV HD version - base tier

Get the Onn 4k plus from Walmart. Great hardware and you can sideload all you want.

Is the Onn 4K plus better than the firestick 4K max? I have 2 and they're slowing down because of amazon bloatware. I use Kodi

Do you reset your stick? It's a good idea to reset them every now and then. My work great and have had them awhile.

Yes, they have a pretty pure version of android with minimal ads and bloat. You can reset your firestick but amazon will eventually crack down on pirating. You can stop updates by using the netguard trick (look on youtube). But I predict that eventually, if an OS version is too old, amazon will brick it by doing the old "apps wont work on this version of fireOS" trick.

Only the ones that are not the latest one. So all of them except for the 4K Plus with that runs Vega OS. I would strongly encourage you to buy the older one just the regular 4K or the 4K Maxx. Anything besides the one that runs Vega OS b it's not just that you can't sideload it's also that it doesn't have any games no Luna no Microsoft stuff. And the apps it has a largely cloud apps because it's just not ready yet even if you don't care about side loading or gaming.
