Lol, I'm so done with BB open box items. Just received my "open box excellent" Asus prime 5070. Missing everything except a loose gpu in a static bag rattling around the fedex box with zero protection. Immediate return, not worth saving $50.

A couple of things about OB . In general, there's no warranty beyond the return policy. Lots of discussion about this. So if you do have an issue you might be out of luck. If you're a bb total member, computer components aren't covered. Returned my 5060 ti for the new msi shadow deal (with PayPal! 20%!).
Better deal on a new one with a warranty in the end!

Their stuff is really hit or miss, I got lucky and mine (same card) still had the plastic wrap on, cables still sealed.

If you can afford the $130 more yes. 5070 may have 4 gb less RAM but the 5070 is still a better card.

Depends. According to CoPilot If you play AAA titles at 1440p or 4K, an Intel i5 9600K + RTX 5070 combo is better — the GPU ensures higher frame rates and detail settings.

BUT. If you play competitive or CPU-heavy games at 1080p/1440p, the Ryzen 7 7800X3D + RTX 5060 Ti combo wins — the CPU guarantees smoother performance and future GPU upgrades will scale better.
