I think the pricing guess from Sito is correct, in that the original list price was 1299 minus 400 for black Friday which is why the stainless drops to 899. It appears to be applied again to the white, bringing that down to 499.
I didn't go to bed needing a fridge/freezer, but Slickdeals is a crazy thing...
