This is 688.99 on Samsung employee purchase program, if you can get to that.

isnt this a crazy good deal? why isnt their more excitement about this? isnt this pretty coveted at 1k let alone now 750?

i ask because i wonder am i missing something is there some flaw in this model?

750 at woot but gets 5% cb with prime visa. the Samsung deal still comes out like 30 ahead for me with 1.5% cb chase freedom, after accounting taxes etc.

Because if you have access to the Samsung store via various different programs, it's been cheaper for a long time now. This is the cheapest it's been for everyone else though so you are correct in that sense

I have the year before model, the Q990C using in my living room. It sits within my Onkyo RZ-50 driven Klipsch 7.4.2, and although I love my Klipsch system, this has been a decent replacement for Home Theater purposes. Not so much for music, but even there I think it's still acceptable for the average music listener. At this price it's a bargain. My Klipsch system costed over 6 times the price, and yet this will take you at least 80% there. I know audiophiles will disagree, but anyone else lesser than those guys will hear what I mean. But as one poster said, it's been floating around this price on the Samsung site, if you qualify for one of their discount programs. It's worth over $1K anyway, any day.

it's good if you don't have EPP through Samsung. It also routinely goes on sale to the point where it's actual retail price really is never warranted.

Kind of a weird question, considering it both says "Up and Side-Firing Rear Speaker Kit" and shows them in the photo.

I was ready to pull the trigger until I started looking more into this. Past deals appear buyers have received models ending in ZA, which is a US unit and eligible for Samsung's 1 year manufacturer warranty. Some have received models ending in ZC, which is a Canadian model and not eligible for Samsung's 1 year manufacturer warranty. And there were reports of a ZP model, which apparently had a 1 year warranty covered by the retailer supplying these to Woot. Given these are only 90 days warranty, guessing these are the ZC Canadian model? Anyone know or have experience with this? Kind of leery spending $750 for only 90 days of warranty...

Very tempted here with the same concerns.

sigh. Guess I need to sell my Onkyo and the Klipsch speakers/sub I bought last spring. Time to simplify, man.
